Awkward Decisions Lead to Cake

So...awkward decisions lead to cake. I dated this guy Zac for two years - we were pretty serious, but all good things come to an end. Four years after we break up, he calls me up and asks me to make a cake for him.

An *engagement* cake.

I said yes for some ludicrous reason. This is the result. Yellow cake on top of my now infamous chocolate milk cake on top of more yellow cake. I hand painted the design with edible paint (icing dye) and wrapped the tiers in black ribbon. I can see all the things wrong with it, but hot damn...

This is gorgeous, I think.
